You may want to seek an evaluation if your child:

• Has delayed speech or communication skills
• Struggles with social interaction
• Shows repetitive behaviors or restricted interests
• Has difficulty with attention, impulse control, or hyperactivity
• Is experiencing learning or developmental delays
• Has been referred by a pediatrician, school, or therapist

1. Clinical Interview

We begin with a detailed conversation about your child’s developmental history, strengths, and challenges.

2. Standardized Testing

We use validated assessment tools appropriate for your child’s age and needs.

3. Behavioral Observation

Direct observation helps us understand how your child communicates, interacts, and responds in structured and unstructured settings.

4. Caregiver Input

When appropriate, questionnaires or rating scales are completed by parents and educators to provide a well-rounded picture.

5. Comprehensive Report & Feedback Session

You’ll receive a detailed written report that explains the findings, diagnostic impressions (if applicable), and provides clear recommendations. We review everything with you and answer questions you may have.

What Makes Our Approach Different

After the Evaluation: What Comes Next?

If a diagnosis is made, we will guide you through the next steps, which may include:

• Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy
• Speech therapy
• Occupational therapy
• Mental health services (including parental support)
• Community resources
• School-based supports and IEP guidance

If a diagnosis is not warranted, we still provide individualized recommendations to support your child’s growth.
